Pitino’s book is more than a sports book, it’s a book about how to deal with failure and personal tragedies. Pitino’s infant son dies, his best friend is killed on 9/11. Along with his failure in Boston, this could have crushed Pitino. Instead, Pitino overcomes his demons. This is an excellent book to learn how to deal with life’s travails and achieve success despite Hard Times.
